Elta Mae Chaisson

JENNINGS Funeral services for Mrs. Elta Mae Lantz Chaisson, 80, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, November 13, 2014 in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles McMillin officiating. Burial will be in the Pine Island Cemetery. Funeral home visitation will be from 4:30 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.; and 8:00 a.m. Thursday until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday in the funeral home chapel. Mrs. Chaisson was a lifelong resident of Jennings. She was a member of the Boat Club and School Association. She loved to cook, work cross word puzzles, kids, and spending time with her family. She is survived by two daughters, Carol Ann Chaisson of Iota, Tina(Darrel)Fontenot of Hathaway; two sons; Keith Chaisson of Hathaway, Burt Chaisson of Tuscon, AR; one sister, Luthy Myers of Winnie, TX; one brother, Herman Lantz of Kaplan; nine grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Mrs. Chaisson is preceded in death by her parents, Jacob and Luna Crochet Lantz; her husband, Raymond Chaisson; and one son, David Chaisson.
