Funeral services for Mrs. Edna Mae Kratzer, 101, of Jennings will be Friday, January 18, 2019 at 11:00a.m. in Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with Father Jay Alexius officiating.  Burial will follow in Andrus Cove Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Mrs. Kratzer was born in Jennings on March 12, 1917 to Homer and Agnes LeJeune LeGros.  She lived in the Jennings community her entire life.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and will be missed by all who knew her. She was always smiling and everyone called her Nanny.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Earl Kratzer, Sr.; her son, Lloyd Earl Kratzer, Jr.; her parents, Homer and Agnes LeGros; sisters, Margarite Ardoin; Carmalite LaBauve; Doris LeGros and Maria LeGros; and her brothers, Lasson LeGros, Andy LeGros, Clomar LeGros and Albert LeGros.

She is survived by her sister, Rita Lewis, Bernadette Murphy, her niece and caregiver and Mitzie Vincent, her niece and caregiver.  Mrs. Kratzer is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
