Earline Marie Benoit

Jennings Memorial services for Mrs. Clifton Tan (Earline Marie Broussard) Benoit, 78, were held Monday, September 22, 2008, at 6:00 p.m. in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Mike Tramel officiating. Visitation was held Monday, September 22, 2008 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and a rosary was recited by Deacon Mike Tramel. Mrs. Benoit died on Sunday, September 21, 2008 at 11:35 a.m. in the Jeff Davis Living Center. Mrs. Benoit was a native and lifelong resident of the Jennings/Hathaway area. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Mrs. Benoit attended Sowela College in Lake Charles and was a dietary worker for the nursing home. She was an avid bingo player. Mrs. Benoit is survived by a sister, Martha Reed of Crowley, La. and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton Tan Benoit, her parents, George and Agnes Simon Broussard, and two brothers, Carrie James Marx and Dave Broussard.
