Earl Broussard, Jr.

Funeral services for Mr. Earl Broussard, Jr., 74 of Lake Arthur, will be held on Friday, February 25, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel in Lake Arthur with Rev. Jay Alexius officiating.  Burial will follow in Miguez Funeral Home under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Visitation for Mr. Broussard will begin Friday morning at 9:00 a.m. and continue until time of service.

Mr. Broussard was born on February 21, 1948, in Lake Arthur to Earl and Verna Lee Thomas Broussard.  He graduated from Lake Arthur High School in 1966 and McNeese State College in 1971.  He received his bachelor’s degree and worked as a Civil Engineer for the state of Louisiana in the DOTD for 38 years.  He was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church and a 3^rd Degree Knight of Columbus, Council 3010.  Mr. Broussard served as a consultant for Broadmore Drainage Board and was past President of Lakeside Development.

Those left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 51 years, Kathleen Conner Broussard; two sons, Michael (Shawn) Broussard and Dr. Damian (Amy) Broussard; and four grandchildren, Kassadie, Kallie, Jenna, and Layton Broussard.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Carrying Mr. Broussard to his place of rest are pallbearers, Damian Broussard, Michael Broussard, Devin Fontenot, John Woods, Sidney Bergeaux, and Robert Conner.  Honorary pallbearers are Layton Broussard and Russell Buckles.
