Earl Aaron Duhon, Jr.

JENNINGS Funeral services for Mr. Earl Aaron Duhon, Jr. 78, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 18, 2014 in the Miguez Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Jack Harris officiating. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery. Funeral home visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Friday; and 8:00 a.m. Saturday until time of services. Mr. Duhon died at 5:00 a.m., Thursday, October 16, 2014 at his residence. Mr. Duhon was a lifelong resident of Jennings and a graduate of the Jennings High School class of 1955. He served in the U.S. National Guard and was a Shriner for more than 30 years. He was an avid hunter and the co-owner of Jennings Norwood Farm and Irrigation. He was a member of First Church of Christ where he served as Deacon for over 40 years. Survivors include his wife, Elaine Newman Duhon of Jennings; two sons, Randall Duhon and wife Sharon of Denham Springs, Michael Duhon and wife Elizabeth of Jennings; one brother, David (Tee) Duhon of Jennings; six grandchildren, Katie Hedglin, Tim Duhon, Chase Guillory, Stuart Guillory, Brinley Duhon and Brock Duhon. He is preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Rosa LeGros Duhon; step-mother, Eunice Smith Duhon; daughter, Pam Duhon Guillory; and in-laws, Bob and Sadie Newman. Pallbearers will be Drew Duhon, Gareth Duhon, Grant Derouen, Tim Duhon, Danny Hedglin, and Mark Doucet. Honorary pallbearers will be Brock Duhon, Chase Guillory and Stuart Guillory.
