JENNINGS
Dustin John Hebert, 35, joined his loved ones for eternity on April 11, 2019. His cremation has been entrusted to Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings.
Dustin grew up in Grand Lake and was a graduate of Grand Lake High School. He lived in Gott’s Cove with his mother before she passed away in 1996, and then with his grandparents, before returning to Grand Lake to live with his father.
He was a free spirit who often traveled from place to place for work or Leisure. He lived his life in a carefree way and enjoyed spending time around his friends and family. He was a loving child who grew up to be a caring adult who enjoyed laughing and having a good time. Dustin had a wonderful sense of humor and had a way of making himself the center of attention.
In his final act of kindness to others, Dustin donated his organs so that others may live.
He will be missed by those he has left behind, including his two sisters, and their husbands, Racheal (Richard) and Erick Morgan of Grand Lake and Jessica (Richard) and David Ardoin of Jennings; his four nephews, Dylan Morgan of Houston, Jacob Morgan of Lake Charles, Noah Morgan of Grand Lake, and Koby Ardoin of Jennings; and his three nieces, Devyn, Baylie and Carli Ardoin, all of Jennings. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Susan Bellard and Darrell “Doc” Hebert; and his grandparents, Grace and Felix Bellard and Leslie and Addie Hebert.
Private graveside services will be held at a later date.
