Funeral services for Mr. Dudley Touchet, 70 of Lake Arthur will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2020 in the Chapel in Miguez Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. with Father Jay Alexius officiating.  Burial will follow in Andrus Cove Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Visitation for Mr. Touchet will begin on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. and continue until the time of service at 2:00 p.m.

Mr. Touchet was the owner of a restaurant, the Busy Bee Lunch Counter in Lake Arthur.  He moved to Lake Arthur from Abbeville and has resided here the last 22 years.  He enjoyed fishing, playing the drums, cooking, and loved going to the beach with his family. He was a devoted uncle to all his nieces and nephews who meant the world to him.

Mr. Touchet is survived by a son, Shane Michael Touchet of Tulsa, OK; two sisters, Gloria (Murvin)Broussard of Abbeville and Rose Belle (Raymond) Thibodeaux of Leroy and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Weston Albert and Almie Marie Soirez Touchet of Abbeville.
