Dudley "D.D." Reddell

JENNINGS Funeral services for Mr. Dudley Douglas D.D. Reddell, 69, will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, August 27, 2010 in the Miguez Funeral Home with Rev. Ted Freeland officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Funeral home visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., today, Thursday; and 8:00 a.m. Friday until time of service. Mr. Reddell died at 6:22 a.m., Tuesday, August 24, 2010 in the Jennings American Legion Hospital. Mr. Reddell was a lifelong resident of Jennings; graduate of the Jennings High School class of 1958 and he attended SLI; served in the U.S. Navy during the Viet Nam Era; was the manager for a moving company and a member of the Jennings United Methodist Church. Mr. Reddell is survived by his wife, Georgia Blackwell Reddell of Jennings; two daughters, Rhonda Reddell Thomas and husband Joey of Lake Charles, Tami Witsman of Houston, TX; two sons, Tom Witsman and wife Sheila of Shreveport and Doug Reddell and wife Angela of Baytown, Tx; mother, Mrs. Harriet Smith Adams of Jennings; one sister, Jeannie Frederick and husband Johnnie of Jennings; one brother, John M. Adams and wife Kerry of Ruston; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Mr. Reddell is preceded in death by three sons, Johnny Reddell, Robbie Reddell and Donnie Witsman. Pallbearers will be Drew Witsman, Derek Witsman, Joey Thomas, Robert Rug Gary, Elmer Clement and George Houssiere. Honorary pallbearers will be the The Once A Month Football Supper Group.
