Dorothy M. Daigle

Funeral services for Mrs. Dorothy Louise Miller Daigle, 89, of Jennings, will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Miguez Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Pellerin officiating.  Burial will follow in Greenwood under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Visitation for Mrs. Daigle will be on Friday, April 29, 2022, at 4:00 p.m.  A rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. and will close at 8:00 p.m.  It will resume on Saturday morning at 8:00 a.m. and continue until the 11:00 a.m. service time.

Mrs. Daigle was born on October 16, 1932, in Jennings to parents, Adam Joseph and Eva Gary Miller.  She passed away on Wednesday April 27, 2022, at Jeff Davis Living Center.   She was a wife, mother and homemaker and she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Shelly and her husband, Melvin LeDoux of Jennings; two nephews that she loved as sons, Kenny Beard of Jennings, and Dale Beard of Iota; son-in-law, Jerry Esthay; two sisters, Delores Guidry of Lake Charles and Annette Bennett of New Iberia; six grandchildren, Jerry Jr., Claude and Stacy Esthay, Lucrecia Mouser, and  Adam and Mikaela LeDoux; nine great grandchildren and one on the way, and also a great-great grandchild on the way.

Mrs. Daigle was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Melton Daigle; a daughter, Katherine Esthay; a son, John Daigle; three sisters, Laurice Beard, Laura Miller, Beulah Bellard and one brother, Laurence Miller.
