Dorothy Louise Broussard

Psalm 116:15 Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints.

Funeral services for Mrs. Dorothy Louise Bunch Broussard, 87, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 5, 2016 in the Miguez Funeral Home chapel with Doug Broyles officiating.

Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery.

Funeral home visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service at 2:00 p.m.

Mrs. Broussard died at 10:55 p.m., Saturday, October 1, 2016 in her residence.

Mrs. Broussard was a native of Corpus Christi, Texas and a 62 year resident of Jennings. She was a homemaker and a member of the North Cutting Church of Christ.

Survivors include her three daughters, Yvette Boudreaux, Elizabeth Broussard, and Dorothy “Lou” Cormier all of Jennings; step daughter Charlotte Kaough of Lake Charles; one sister, Marlene Birdwell of Cleveland, Texas and 9 grandchildren and several great granchildren.

Mrs. Broussard is preceded in death by her parents, Edward Hathaway and Thelma Marie Verret Bunch; her husband, Ivan “Chink” Broussard; one daughter, Thelma Broussard; one son, James Ridenour; sisters, Joyce Mayo, Gladys Riley, and brother Robert Bunch.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Benoit, Zachery Benoit, Joe Broussard, Andrew Broussard, Ben Boudreaux and Gabriel Boudreaux.
