Dorothy Jean Broussard

Jennings A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Dorothy Jean Lognion Broussard will be held on Monday, February 27, 2012 at 10 AM at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church with Rev. Charles McMillin officiating. Burial will be in the Greenwood cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings. Visitation today, Sunday, Feb. 26, 2012 will be from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary being recited at 6 p.m. Visitation on Monday will be from 8 a.m. until the time of service. Mrs. Broussard died Saturday, February 25, 2012 at 8:35 a.m. at Christus St. Patrick Hospital in Lake Charles. She was a native of Crowley, La. and resident of Jennings. Mrs. Broussard was a member of Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church and the Ladies Altar Society. She was a retired beautician. Survivors include her daughter; Sandra Guillory of Lake Charles, a sister; Patsy Martin and her husband Burnell of Crowley, a brother; Sydney Lognion of Crowley, two grandchildren; Chris Guillory and wife Nedra, Annette Habetz and husband Marty and four great grandchildren. Mrs. Broussard was preceded in death by her husband, Wilfred Broussard and her parents, Peter and Estella Trahan Lognion.
