Doris Jane Aguillard

JENNINGS Funeral services for Mrs. Doris Jane Suire Aguillard, 73, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 2, 2013 in the First Church of Christ with Bro. Jack Harris officiating. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings. Funeral home visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m., Friday. Visitation will resume Saturday at the church at 8:30 a.m. until time of services. Mrs. Aguillard died at 4:50 a.m., Wednesday, October 30, 2013 in the Jennings American Legion Hospital. She was a lifelong resident of Jennings and a Jennings High School graduate class of 1958. She was a member of the First Church of Christ. Survivors include one daughter, Sue Bernard and husband Barry of Moss Bluff; four sons, Ray Allen Aguillard, Dwight Aguillard and wife Thea all of Hathaway, John Logan Aguillard of Shreveport, Edison Kyle Aguillard and wife Judith of Ft. Worth, TX; four sisters, Della Suire Savage, Helen Miller both of Jennings, Yvonne Mouton of Port Arthur, TX, Shirley Chic Boone and husband Horace of Shreveport; one brother, Johnny Roy Moore of Jennings; and twelve grandchildren. Mrs. Aguillard is preceded in death by her husband, Loree J. Aguillard and her parents, Logan and Enola Begnaud Suire.
