Dora, known as Jean to many, was born on September 3, 1941, in Estherwood, LA, to Drozin LeJeune and FeDora Istre LeJeune. She lived her life doing what she did best, raising and taking care of her family. She loved her family deeply and cherished every moment with them. Until recent years, you could always find her spoiling her family by cooking for them. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother, and we will always cherish our memories of her and the legacy she will leave behind.
Left to cherish those memories are her children, Pam (Blake) Kratzer, Mary (Wade) Thibeaux, Dee (Lynn) Ray and Roger (Brigette) Daigle; sister, Francis Bertrand; eight grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Adam Daigle; grandson, Joshua Blake Kratzer; brothers, Billy LeJeune and Nelson LeJeune; and her sisters, Mildred Castille, Laura Moore, Ruby Fontenot, Peggy Crocker, Virgie Arceneaux and Poor Winnie.
