Donna Joy Parsley

JENNINGS Memorial services for Ms. Donna Joy Parsley, 56, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 1, 2014 in the Miguez Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Charles McMillin officiating. Ms. Parsley died Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at her home in Evangeline. Her body was donated for medical research. Ms. Parsley was a lifelong resident of Evangeline and a graduate of the Iota High School. Survivors include her mother, Mrs. Joyce Parsley of Evangeline; one daughter, Erika W. Rutherford and husband Charles, Jr.; two sons, Marcus J. Bertrand, Jr., Hunter B Decker; one sister, Lynette P. Smith and husband Clay; three brothers, Emmit B. Parsley and wife Bridget, Byron L. Parsley, Nathan C. Parsley and wife Jane; companion, Andy Dickerson; and three grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father, Daniel Parsley.
