Funeral services for Mr. Donald R. Adickes, 60, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 2, 2017 in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel in Lake Arthur with Msgr. Ronald Groth officiating.

Burial will be in the St. Anthony Cemetery in Lake Arthur.

Funeral home visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until time of services Thursday.

Mr. Adickes died at 2:00 a.m., Monday, January 30, 2017 in his residence.

Mr. Adickes was a lifelong resident of Lake Arthur and was a high school graduate. He worked as floor hand in the oil industry.

Survivors include two sons, Cody Ray (Marcie)Adickes of Hathaway, Derrick Paul Adickes of Lake Arthur; four sisters, Joyce (Harvey) Boudreaux of Jennings, Mary (Jimmy) LeJeune of Lake Arthur, Jeannie (David)Palmer of Jacksonville, FL, Susie Menard of Hathaway; one brother, Herbert (Sue) Adickes of Richmond, TX; four grandchildren, Alexis Adickes, Natalie Adickes, Derrick Paul Adickes II and Kimberly Quebodeaux.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Otto Daniel and Helen Mainka Adickes.
