Donald L. Goodwin

Jennings Funeral services for Donald L. Goodwin, 70 of Jennings, LA will be held through Miguez Funeral Home, Thursday, February 7, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. Msgr. James Gaddy will officiate. Visitation will be held from 8 a.m. February 7 until the time of service. He will be laid to rest in Calvary Cemetery in Jennings with full military honors. Mr. Goodwin died Tuesday, February 5, 2013 in Oschner Hospital, Mew Orleans, LA after a brief illness. He retired from the United States Air Force in 1985 after nearly 24 years of service. He was a Vietnam Veteran. He also served as the Jeff Davis Parish V. A. Service Officer for 17 years. He was born in Jennings, LA on January 27, 1943. His parents, Wilbur and Lillian Goodwin preceded him in death. He and his loving wife of 36 years are faithful members of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. He is survived by his loving wife, Kun Cha Goodwin, his very special brother, Darrell and his wife Lois Ruth Goodwin, his sisters, Linda Robertson and Wilma LeJeune and brother Byron and several nephews and nieces.
