Donald "Bubba" James Benoit, Jr.

Services for Donald “Bubba” James Benoit, Jr., 23, will be held Sunday evening, September 3, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at Miguez Funeral Home with Pastor Eric Crochet officiating. Mr. Benoit will be cremated following the service. Arrangements are under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Mr. Benoit was born in Jennings and lived here his entire life.

Visitation for Mr. Benoit will be from 10:00 a.m., Sunday, September 3, 2017 until time of service at 7:00 p.m.

He is survived by his parents, Donald James Benoit of Evangeline and Gwendalynn Renee Miller and her husband Jimmy of Jennings; maternal grandmother and step-grandfather, Judy and Charlie Sonnier of Jennings; his paternal grandfather Gerald Deshotel of Sunset; his paternal step-grandfather Corbert Guidry of Jennings; his girlfriend Chelsey Bihm of Jennings; two sisters, Heather Benoit and boyfriend Evans Cormier of Jennings and Harlie Benoit Cheatham and husband JayJay of Jennings; his godmother, Julie Legros; two nieces, one nephew, one step-niece and one step-nephew.

Mr. Benoit is preceded in death by his grandmother, Laura Guidry; his step-grandmother, Judy Benoit; his grandfather, Everelle “Blackie” Cormier and his uncle, Terry Lynn Cormier.
