JENNINGS Funeral services for Mrs. Diane Deshotel LeBlue, 51, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 23, 2008 in the Miguez Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Robert Hopkins officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery near Elton under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings. Funeral home visitation was from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. Monday; and 7:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of services. Mrs. LeBlue died Sunday, December 21, 2008 as a result of an automobile accident. Born in Iguana Guam Mrs. LeBlue was a resident of Jennings 32 years. Mrs. LeBlue received an accounting certificate in 2001 from the Louisiana Technical College Morgan Smith Campus and she was a member of the Jennings Christian Center. Survivors include three daughters, Melissa Spikes of Newton, TX, Kieley Hawthorne of Newton, TX and Sarah Watson of Jennings; her father, Harold Deshotel of Elton, one sister, Janice Godeaux, of Newton, TX; two brothers, Daniel G. Deshotel of Kenosha, Wisconsin and Ronnie A. Deshotel of Branch, LA and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Walker Deshotel, and one son, Samuel Watson.
