Funeral services for Mr. Dennis Earl Fontenot, 73, will be held on Saturday July 2, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel with Hillary St. Germain officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will take place in Calvary Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Dennis was born on March 11, 1949, in Jennings, Louisiana to Albey and Effie Trahan Fontenot. He lived in the Jennings area most of his life. He enjoyed his music and loved to pray. He loved his family deeply and will be missed dearly.

He is survived by his sister, Barbara Delome of Broussard; a brother, Arthur (Sharon) Fontenot of Lafayette; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Livian St. Germain and Lita Fontenot; and brothers, Lester Fontenot Sr., Curtis Fontenot, Vernon “Bob” Fontenot, Kenneth Fontenot and Howard Fontenot.
