Delia Labauve

LAKE ARTHUR Funeral services for Ms. Delia Brown LaBauve, 82, will be held at 2:30 p.m., Monday, October 12, 2015 in Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with Msgr. Ronald Groth officiating. Burial will be in the St. Anthony Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Lake Arthur. Funeral home visitation will be from 2:30 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. Sunday; and 8:00 a.m. Monday until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m., Sunday in the funeral home chapel. Ms. LaBauve died at 8:00 a.m., Friday, October 9, 2015 at her residence in Lake Arthur. Ms. LaBauve was a 65 year resident of Lake Arthur moving here from Chatagnier. She was a Lake Arthur High School graduate class of 1966. She was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters and Ladies Altar Society. She owned and operated Delia’s Lounge in Lake Arthur since 1970. Ms. LaBauve is survived by one daughter, Dolores Manley and husband Earl of Lafayette; one son, Bobby LaBauve and wife Laurie of Lake Charles; two sisters, Joyce McLean of Jennings, Nora Zaleski of Leakey, TX; 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Noah and Iris Brown; two sons, Ray Allen (Razor) and Ivan Keith LaBauve; two sisters, Betty Bawcom and Vivian Brown; and two brothers, Steven and Henry Brown.
