The family of Mr. Davis “Shorty” “T-Mac” Richard, 82, of Jennings, announces his passing on December 08, 2022.  Mr. Davis passed away peacefully in the Southwest Louisiana Veterans Home.

The family of Mr. Richard are honoring his wishes of being cremated. Cremation has been entrusted to Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings.

Mr. Davis was born on March 15, 1940, in Jennings, LA to Adam Richard and Lyllie Quebedeaux. He served his country honorably by serving in the United States Navy. He also worked as a pipe fitter in the construction industry. He loved cooking, fishing, hunting, Cajun music and enjoyed every moment spent with his family.

Left to cherish his memory are his two daughters, Lisa Richard of Welsh, LA and Paula Richard of Lake Charles, LA, his son Kevin (Kimberly) Richard of Savannah, TX; three grandchildren, Laken Richard, Cameron Richard, and Lauryn Richard; and one great granddaughter, Abigail Richard.

He is preceded in death by his parents, a granddaughter, Lyllie Richard; and three brothers, Joseph “TJ”, Lloyd, and Malcolm Richard.

Memorial graveside services with Military Honors at Greenwood Cemetery will be held on Friday, December 30, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Jeremey Touchet officiating.
