David Manuel

Funeral services for Mr. David Manuel, 72, of Jennings will be held on Monday, December 7, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jack Harris officiating.  Burial will follow in Lopez Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Mr. Manuel passed away on December 5, 2020.  He was born on November 2, 1948 to parents Drew Joseph and Anita Anna Schexnyder Manuel.  Mr. Manuel served as the Head Chef at Boudin King Restaurant in Jennings for many years.

Visitation with the family will begin on Monday, December 7, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. and continue until service time at 2:00 p.m.

Mr. Manuel leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Jacqueline “Jackie” Lopez Manuel; daughter, Jesecca Creger of Jennings; two sisters, Noon Bruney and Jeanette Guillory; two brothers, Paul and Albert Manuel, both of Jennings; and one grandchild, Sydney Creger.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Tony Manuel.

In lieu of flowers the family is accepting donations to help with the care and upkeep of the cemetery and to help offset the cost of the funeral.
