David Keith Sawyer

Funeral services for Mr. David Keith Sawyer, 71, who passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2023, will be held on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Mike Tramel officiating.  Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Visitation for Mr. Sawyer will begin at 12 Noon on Wednesday and continue until the service time at 2:00 p.m.

Keith was living independently until this past week when he went to Jeff Davis Living Center in Jennings, LA.

Keith graduated from Hearne High School in Hearne, TX in 1970.  He later married Pamela Crain on February 17, 1973.  Keith worked and retired from Murphy Oil.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Badie V Sawyer, Sr., and Mae Etta Sawyer; infant sister, Barbara; his brother, B. Vaughn Sawyer, Jr.; his wife Pamelia Crain Sawyer as well as her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Crain.

Keith is survived by his Godson, Matthew, and his wife Lauren Broussard and their two sons, Rowan and Rinlyn; brothers, Richard and his wife Mary Brown, Rusty, and wife Donna Sawyer; sister-in-law, Barbara Sawyer and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
