Funeral services for Mr. David Joseph Benoit, 70, of Lake Charles will be held on Wednesday evening, November 28, 2018 at 6:00 PM in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Rivers officiating. Cremation afterwards has been entrusted to Miguez Funeral Home.

Visitation for Mr. Benoit will begin on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. and continue until time of service.

Mr. Benoit was a native of Jennings but lived in the Lake Charles area. He was a retired supervisor in the oil and gas industry. After his graduation from high school, Mr. Benoit served his country honorably in the Army during the Viet Nam war.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Kelly and Louise B. Benoit; three sisters, Lillian Theriot, Shirlene Ferguson, Laura Landry and two brothers, Worley Benoit and Abel Benoit.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Jessica Richard Benoit of Lake Charles; daughters, Kelly Benoit Jones (Fiancee’ Anthony Hensley) of Lake Charles; Tisha Benoit Gimnick and husband Brad of DeQuincy; Valerie Muse and Carmelite Martin of Lake Charles; Jennifer Saucier and husband Dusty of Lake Charles; two sons, David J. Benoit, Jr. and Derrick Gary and wife Alicia, all of Lake Charles; three sisters, Wilma Parker of Jennings; Ann Hebert and husband John of Lowery; Velma Guillory of Lake Arthur; fourteen grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
