Funeral services for Mr. Darrel Wayne Crochet, 61, of Jennings, will be held on Friday, August 26, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Mike Tramel officiating.  Burial will follow in Bertrand Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Visitation for Mr. Crochet will begin at 11:00 a.m. Friday morning and continue until the 2:00 p.m. service.

Mr. Crochet was born on April 15, 1961, in Jennings to Edmond and Vivian Pete Crochet.  He passed away on Monday, August 22, 2022, in Lafayette, LA.  He was a lifelong resident of Jennings and worked as a supervisor in the construction industry.

Those left behind to cherish his precious memory are his fiancée, Judy Wilson; a daughter, Raechel Jackson of Egan; a son, Matt (Monique) Crochet of Italy; two brothers, Terry (Janice) Crochet of Ferriday and Tommy Crochet of Jennings; three grandchildren, Addison, Emersyn and Austyn Jackson; and numerous nieces and nephews along with great and great-great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Ritha Crochet; and three brothers, Jerry Crochet, Michael Crochet and Larry Crochet.

Pall Bearers for Darrel will be Andy Bellon, Wesley Crochet, Jacob Crochet, Ben Crochet, Bryan Crochet, Mark Crochet, Wade Crochet, Lee Crochet, Myron Crochet and Jasper Crochet.
