A funeral mass for Ms. Darla Fruge, 55, of Jennings will be held on Wednesday September 8, 2021, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Lawrence Catholic Church with Father William Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Bertrand Cemetery.

Visitation for Ms. Darla will be held on Tuesday September 7, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel. A Rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Darla was born February 18, 1966, to Marvin and Ebertha Crochet in Jennings, Louisiana. She passed away peacefully on September 3, 2021, surrounded by her loving family in the Jennings American Legion Hospital. She worked for the City of Iota in the water department. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Hunting and fishing she also enjoyed doing on her spare time.

She is survived by her mother, Ebertha Crochet; fiancé, Tommy Breaux; daughters, Shelby Fruge and fiancé Alexander Smith of Lake Charles, Keeley Fruge of Hathaway, Kyla Breaux of Lake Arthur, and Mia Breaux of Jennings; sons, Hunter Courville of Jennings, and Noah Breaux of Lake Arthur; Brothers, Marvin (Buffie) Crochet Jr. of Hathaway and Ryan (Shay) Crochet of Hathaway; one grandchild, Amentha Broussard; and three nephews and four nieces. 

She is preceded in death by her father, Marvin Joseph Crochet, Sr.

Burial will be under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.
