Daniel Lee Trahan, Sr.

LAKE ARTHUR Funeral services for Mr. Daniel Lee Trahan, Sr., 76, will be held at 2:00 p.m., today, Tuesday, November 9, 2010 in the Miguez Funeral Home of Lake Arthur with Brother Dennis House officiating. Burial will be in the Hayes Cemetery. Funeral home visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until time of service today, Tuesday. Mr. Trahan died Friday, November 5, 2010 in the St. Patrick Hospital, Lake Charles. Mr. Trahan was a lifelong resident of Welsh and loved wood crafting, fishing and turtling. Survivors include four daughters, Stephanie Granger and husband, Dudley of Welsh, Robin Andrus and husband Rayford of Hayes, Juanita Gradney and husband Easton of Welsh, Linda Trahan and husband Gumbo of Welsh; two sons, Darrell Trahan, Sr. and wife Diana of Welsh, Daniel Trahan, Jr. of Lake Charles; two brothers, Christopher Trahan and wife Vernice of Lake Arthur and Earl Trahan and wife Joyce also of Lake Arthur, 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren . Preceded in death by his parents, Adam Joseph and Amelia Marie Gary Trahan, Sr.; wife, Willia Jean Martin Trahan; four sisters, three brothers, and one granddaughter, Toni Alana Trahan.
