JENNINGS Funeral services for Mr. Dalton Landry, 90, will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, January 2, 2012 in Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church with Rev. Charles McMilin officiating. Burial with Full Military Honors will be in the Calvary Cemetery. Funeral home visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. Sunday, until 8:00 P.M. with a rosary being recited at 6:00 PM. Monday visitation will be from 8:00 A.M. until time of services. Mr. Landry died at 4:00 P.M. Friday, December 30, 2011 in the Jennings American Legion Hospital. Mr. Landry was a lifelong resident of Jennings and graduate of Jennings High School, Class of 1940. Mr. Landry was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 2012; Jennings James O. Hall American Legion Post 19; Square Shooters; Ricelandaires Barbershop Chorus; Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church and Choir. Mr. Landry was the owner of Dads Auto Body Shop and the Landry Endzone . Mr. Landry was a member of the 1939 Jennings High State Champion Football Team. He was also a longtime employee of Hebert and LeBleu Auto Dealership. Survivors include his three sons, Dalton Dale Landry and wife Berdie, Darrell Landry, both of Jennings, and Danny Joe Landry and wife Selene of Moss Bluff; 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Mr. Landry was preceded in death by his parents, Luke and Marie Ducharme Landry; his wife, Darlene Hine Landry, one sister, Florence L. Brown; one brother, Luke Landry, Jr. and his daughter-in-law, Angie Landry.
