Dakota Hebert

Services for Dakota James Hebert, 28, of Jennings, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 7, 2022, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Paul LaFleur officiating. Burial will take place in St. Joseph Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, September 7, from 9:00 a.m. until the time to depart for church at 1:30 p.m., with a Rosary being recited at 12:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.

Dakota was born on October 31, 1993, in Jennings, Louisiana to Darryl and Lisa Simar Hebert. He was a 2012, Iota High School graduate. He enjoyed traveling and going on adventures. He loved spending time with his family and hanging out with his friends. He loved and adored his son and cherished every moment with him.

He is survived by his parents; son, Koleten Bourque of Jennings; and brothers, Tanner (Sarah) Hebert of Mire, Dylan Hebert of Evangeline and Beau Hebert of Evangeline; nephew, Mason Hebert; niece, Madelyn Hebert. 

He is Preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Loyd “Sonny” and Loah Simar; paternal grandfather, Geary Hebert; and step grandfather, Raymond Breaux
