Lake Arthur Funeral services for Mrs. Bryan (Cynthia Kaye Mitchell Shuff) Lyons, 55 will be held on Friday, June 8, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel in Lake Arthur with Brother Todd Schumacher officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Lake Arthur. Funeral home visitation will be from 3:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. today, Thursday, June 7, 2012 and on Friday from 8:00 a.m. until the time of service. Mrs. Lyons died Tuesday, June 5. 2012 at 10:58 p.m. at her residence in Lake Arthur. Mrs. Lyons was a native of Jennings and resided in Lake Arthur for the past 25 years. She was a homemaker and had a love for dogs, fishing and gardening. She is survived by her husband, Bryan Lyons of Lake Arthur; a step-daughter, Amber Lyons of Sulphur; a son, Chad Shuff and wife Tasha of Lake Arthur; her mother, Betty L. Mitchell of Jennings; a sister, Kris Mitchell Reed of Jennings; a brother, Brent Mitchell and wife Kate Aoki of Dallas, TX.; two grandchildren, Laicen Shell and Hannah Shuff; two special nieces, Lauren and Chloe and three special nephews, Collin, Ethan and Aaron.
