Mr. Craig Wesley Campbell, 61, passed away on March9, 2021 in the Jennings American Legion Hospital.

Craig was born on September 5, 1959 in Santa Paula, California. He enjoyed working at the Golden Nugget and treasured his friends there. They did so much for him while he was battling cancer.  His special friend Carla meant so much to him. Craig loved the Lord, and we know he is in heaven with his loved ones gone before him.

Survivors include his parents, Grace and Klaus Heddergott of Mariposa, CA; his aunt and uncle Judy and Bob Wood and their daughter Aimee Martin who were at his bedside when he passed all from Texas; stepsister Kim Moore of Danbury, CT and his stepbrother, Brent Heddergott of Whittier, CA.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 31 years, Pamela Shirley Campbell; his father, Wes Campbell; and his stepsister, Lisa Heddergott.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Ryan Edwards, the nurses and staff at the Jennings American Legion Hospital.  His last days were made easier thanks to the Heart of Hospice Group.
