Cora Royer Caswell

JENNINGS Funeral services for Mrs. Cora Royer Caswell, 91, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 28, 2010 in the Miguez Funeral Home with Deacon Mike Tramel officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Funeral home visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until 9:00 p.m., today, Saturday; and 8:00 a.m. until time of services Sunday. A rosary led by Deacon Mike Tramel will be recited at 7:00 p.m., today, Saturday in the funeral home chapel. Mrs. Caswell died at 11:35 p.m., Wednesday, November 24, 2010 in her residence. Mrs. Caswell was a lifelong resident of Jennings and was a retired librarian having worked at the Jennings Carnegie Public Library for 44 years. She was very devoted to her faith and enjoyed praying the Rosary. Mrs. Caswell loved and cherished her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was a very devoted mother. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church where she was a member of Perpetual Adoration Chapel. Survivors include one daughter, Bobbie C. Meyer and husband Edwin of Chauvin, LA; one son, Ronald Caswell and wife Patricia of Jennings; grandchildren, Angela Crispino, James Douglas, Vannessa Caswell, Shayne Caswell, Christina Cormier, Rachael Benoit; great grandchildren, Kevin Crispino, Kyle Crispino, Caroline Meyer, Emily Caswell, Sarah Benoit, Jacob Cormier, Courtney Cormier and Brooke Cormier. Pallbearers will be Steven Crispino, James D. Meyer, Jerry McFarlain, Shayne Caswell, Patrick Busch, Allen Cormier; and honorary pallbearers will be Kevin Crispino and Edwin Meyer.
