Clifford "Cuz" James Frey

Jennings Laugh and the world laughs with you! Funeral services for Mr. Clifford CUZ James Frey, 65, will be held on Monday, September 29, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church with Rev. Charles McMillin officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in the Garden of the Angels under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings. Funeral home visitation on Sunday, September 28, 2008 will be from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Monday, September 29, 2008 from 8:00 a.m. until the time of service. A rosary led by Sybil Frey will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home chapel. Mr. Frey died Friday, September 26, 2008 at 2:19 p.m. in the Lake Charles Memorial Hospital. Mr. Frey was a native of Iota and lifelong resident of Jennings. He was a member of Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church. He was a 1961 graduate of Jennings High School and was a self-employed dirt contractor. Cuz always had a smile on his face and never met a stranger. He loved life and lived it to the fullest. He was an avid hunter, loved to dance and tell jokes. SURVIVORS: Mr. Frey is survived by his wife, Drew Ann Johnson Frey of Jennings; a daughter Tiffany Frey Theunissen and her husband Jay of Jennings; a grandson, Matthew Leger of Jennings; two sisters, Mrs. Clyde (Wanda Pork ) Smith of Jennings and Mrs. Danny (Debbie) Hylton of Jennings; a mother-in-law, Mazie C. Johnson of Jennings; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Earl (Christine J.) Blackwell of Jennings; a brother-in-law, Christopher J. Johnson and wife, Kelly of Sealy, Texas; special cousins, Dana and Gerard Frey of Iota; his beloved pet, Buster Frey; numerous nieces and nephews and an infinite number of CUZins . Mr. Frey was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Verley LeJeune Frey and his father-in-law, Christopher C. Johnson.
