Clara Belle Patin

JENNINGS Funeral services for Mrs. Clara Belle LeBlanc Patin, 68, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 6, 2011 in the Miguez Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Bertrand officiating. Burial will be in the Mermentau Cemetery. Funeral home visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Sunday; and 8:00 a.m., Monday until time of services. Mrs. Patin died at 12:20 a.m., Friday, June 3, 2011 in the Jennings American Legion Hospital. Mrs. Patin was a lifelong resident of Jennings and was a member of Faith Tabernacle. She enjoyed cooking and taking care of people and spending time with her children and family. She loved the New Orleans Saints and the LSU Tigers. Survivors include one daughter, Teddy OQuinn and husband Ricky of Lake Charles; her mother, Bernice Kibodeaux of Jennings; cousin Pam Prather and husband Terry of Jennings whom she loved dearly and helped care for her; four step-daughters, Mitzi Henry and husband Carl of Midland, Janet Miller of Mermentau, Sugar Woodward and husband Gary of Mermentau, Moosie Benoit and husband Bubba of Midland; two sons, Willy Martinez and wife Charlotte of Jennings, Bob Ortego and wife Joselyn of Jennings; one step-son, Chad Patin and wife Tasha of Natchitoches; and one sister, Roxanne Newsom and husband Mike of Jennings; 20 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Patin was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence C.J. Patin, Jr. Pallbearers will be Willy Martinez, Chad Patin, Keegan Guidry, Kade Ortego, Trae Hebert and Bubba Benoit. Honorary pallbearer will be Courtney Prather.
