Funeral services for Christopher Ray Neal, 24, of Lake Arthur will be held at 2:00 p.m. October 9, 2016 in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Josh Belt officiating.

Burial will follow in St. Anthony Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Visitation will be observed Saturday, October 8, 2016 from 1:30 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a rosary being recited at 6:00 p.m. Visitation will resume Sunday from 10:00a.m until the time of service.

Mr. Neal died Thursday, October 6, 2016.

Mr. Neal lived in the Lake Arthur community his entire life and graduated from Lake Arthur High School. He worked in the construction industry. He enjoyed being with his family and friends and was a simple man who enjoyed life.

He is survived by his parents Dave and Kim Neal of Sulphur and Tina and Wilbert Landry, Jr. of Lake Arthur; two sisters, Nicole Smith of Jennings and Amy Newman of Orange, TX; seven brothers, Jace Lee Landry of Lake Arthur; Kolton Hugh Landry of Lake Arthur; Devin Landry of Lake Arthur; Schyler and Trevor Neal of Sulphur; Carl Neal of New Jersey; Chase Thurston of Lake Charles and Jacob Verrett of Orange, TX; maternal grandparents Johnny and Sharon Landry; paternal grandparents Carl and Brenda Neal of Bundicks Lake; grandparents Bobby and Pam Vasseur of Jennings; grandparents, Wilbert and Charlotte Landry of Lake Arthur.

He is preceded in death by his uncle Joseph Neal; his great grandparents Dave and Gertie Broussard and his great grandfather Hugh Marceaux.

Pallbearers will be Schyler Neal, Trevor Neal, Jeff Landry, Chris Landry, John Ardoin and Benjamin Martin. Honorary Pallbearers are Devin Landry, Jace Landry and Kolton Landry.
