Christopher Daniel Harford, age 47, left this earth before anyone was ready, especially him. Chris was born to Mary and Chuck in 1977 and grew up in Ball, LA.

As a boy, he was small in stature but large in personality and wit! He was a true outdoorsman. He cared for animals and wildlife and absolutely loved being in nature.

Chris never met a stranger and made friends everywhere he went. He had the best laugh and gave everyone affectionate nicknames.

The best years of his life were as a kid and again when he met Leah Hartwell when they were students at Northwestern. They married in 2010 and later had three precious sons.

These past few years were an immense struggle for Chris, despite all the interventions and support. We hope and pray he is at peace now. His family and loved ones are heartbroken over what was and what could have been.

Chris leaves behind his wife, Leah, and his young children Matthew, Luke, and Levi, all of Welsh, LA. He is survived by his mother Mary Eznack (Buddy) of Bentley, his father Chuck Harford of Andover, Ohio, his brother Charles Harford (Oweasia) of Lindale, Texas, his sister Cathy Lesinski (Geoff) of Buffalo, New York, and his nieces, nephew, cousins, aunts, and uncles.

He is with his grandparents, cousin, and friends in Heaven.

Cremation has been entrusted to Miguez Funeral Home.
