Chris Miller

Mary Christine “Chris” Buller Miller, 74, of Jennings, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.

Chris was born on February 10, 1949, in Elton, LA., to Bernard and Audrey Broussard Buller. She attended school in Lake Arthur and later graduated co-valedictorian with honors in 1967. She continued her education in the field of Education and received her Master’s Degree from McNeese State University. She began teaching at Central High School in Jennings, LA., then later worked in administration for the Jefferson Davis Parish School Board, from which she retired. She loved animals dearly; you could often find her loving on animals anywhere and anytime. In her spare time, she also enjoyed crafts and gardening.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Ryan (Christi) Miller of Spring, TX.; sister, Claudette Abshire of Jennings, LA.; brother, Richard (Cindy) Buller of Jennings, LA.; grandchildren, Lauren, Grant, Gage, and Ashley; along with numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, sisters, and brothers-in-law.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her high school sweetheart and husband of many years, Willie Earl “Bill” Miller.

Cremation has been entrusted to Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings.
