Cheryl Maggiore was born on March 30, 1946, in Enid, Oklahoma, but resided most of her life in Jennings. She and Ernest, her husband of 44 years, raised their three children here in the city that she loved so dearly. Cheryl was a faithful member of The First Baptist Church and a proud and active member of her church family. In 1984, Cheryl was an instrumental member of the family team that started, and successfully operated Charles Holston, Inc., for 20 years. Working at CHI diligently for 20 years, she earned the profound respect of her fellow employees, all of whom she held in high regard. However, she was most proud of the titles she held as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Cheryl dedicated her life to her family. She passed away on Sunday morning in the comfort of her home, surrounded by the family to whom she devoted her life. Cheryl Maggiore is survived by her husband, Ernest, their three daughters and spouses: Lanette and Bryan LeJeune, Eileen and Ted Whiting, and Kara and James Monvoisin. To cherish her memory, she leaves the seven grandchildren she adored: Phoenix Maggiore, Amber Whiting, Trevor Maggiore, Zachary Whiting, Wyatt LeJeune, Grant LeJeune, and Reese Monvoisin. Preceded in death by her father, Charles Holston, Cheryl is also survived by her mother, Marjorie Holston, and her three siblings and spouses: Rhonda and Lane Watkins, Karol and Ged Fleming, and Craig and Karen Holston. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Phoenix Maggiore, Craig Holston, and nephews Kennon Watkins, Chuck Watkins, Ross Holston, and Alex Holston. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The First Baptist Church Family Life Center or in her name to the charity of your choice.
