Funeral services for Mrs. Chasity Cherie’ Denby Monceaux, 40, of Jennings will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at Miguez Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Clifton LeJeune officiating.  Burial will follow in Gary Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Visitation for Mrs. Monceaux will begin Saturday morning at 9:30 a.m. and continue until service time at 3:00 p.m.

Chasity was born on December 29, 1980 in Jennings and lived here her entire life.  After graduating high school, Chasity found her expertise as a beauty guide selling cosmetics.  Her bubbly personality and cheerful smile opened the doors to success and many new friends.

Chasity will be remembered as a loving, compassionate person by all who were fortunate to know her.  She loved her family unconditionally and her heart of gold was displayed in so many ways towards her family and friends.  She also enjoyed antiquing and restoring antiques to a new beauty.  Like most compassionate people, Chasity loved her dogs and they will miss her terribly.  If you knew Chasity, then you benefitted by having known her.  She leaves a legacy of love for those dear to her.

Those left behind to cherish her memory forever are her husband, Jodi Monceaux; her father, Arnold Denby; her mother and Dad, Melissa and Bubba Courts; her daughter, Jaci Deaville; son of her heart, Clifford Denby; sister, Courtney Denby; brothers, Seth Dore, Derek Denby, Trey Denby; paternal grandparents, Arnold and Diane Denby; maternal grandmother, Lona Gayle Ardoin; mother-in-law Laura Monceaux;  brother-in-law Torrey and Kim Monceaux; sister-in-law, LaDonna Monceaux and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Tristan Courts and her grandfather, John Ardoin.
