Charmienne Collard Broussard, 64, of Andrus Cove, passed away on January 27, 2024, in her residence.

Funeral mass for Mrs. Charmienne, will be held on Tuesday January 30, 2024, beginning at 11:00 a.m., at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with Father Trey Ange officiating.

A gathering of friends and family will be held on Monday January 29, 2024, in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel, from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. A rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m., at the funeral home. Visitation will resume on Tuesday and continue until the time to depart for church at 10:30. She will be laid to rest in Andrus Cove Cemetery, under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Mrs. Charmienne was born on February 6, 1959, in Lake Charles, LA, to GW “Bill” Collard and Leona Vallo Collard. She was a graduate of Gueydan High School. In 1976, she married the love of her life, Benton Broussard. They have been the proud owners of Bill’s Wrecker Service in Jennings since 1996. She loved her family deeply and cherished every minute she could with her children and grandchildren.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband of 47 years, Benton Broussard; mother, Leona Collard; son, Brandon (Cassie) Broussard; daughter, Jodi (Blaine) Landry; sister, Lynn (Michael) Klumpp; brother, Chris Collard; her grandchildren, Bradley and Brady Broussard and Ross and Reagan Landry; and a host of extended family and friends that called her “MAW’.

She now rejoices in heaven with her father, Bill Collard and her brother, Billy Collard, III.

Carrying her to her final place of rest will be, Jared “Butch” Broussard, Bradley Broussard, Rory Quebedeaux, Robbie Cormier, Brock Smith, and Trevor Pellerin. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ross Landry, Brady Broussard, John Joubert, Mike Perry, Bentley Broussard, and Kane Smith.
