Charlotte Oldfield

The family would like to announce the passing of Charlotte Oldfield, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, who left us on February 5, 2025, at the age of 62.

Born on July 15, 1962, in Lake Arthur, Louisiana, Charlotte spent her life surrounded by family and friends in Jennings, Louisiana.

Charlotte was the cherished wife of Edward Oldfield and a devoted mother to her children: Michael "Joey" (Amy Gary) St. Germain, Jennifer St. Germain, Jeremy (Amber Guidry) St. Germain, Shanna Oldfield, and Brent (Christa) Oldfield. She was a proud grandmother to 21 grandchildren; Caulder, Aurora, Brooklyn, Jasmine, TJ, Gage, Nevaeh, Rylan, Cohen, Sawyer, Brylee, Quinn, Brent, Noah, Zayden, Devin, Lyric, Bubby, Miley, Jayden, Karleigh and one great-grandchild, Elijah, who brought her endless joy. She is also survived by her brothers, Troy Breaux and John John Lejeune.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee Roy Breaux and Gail Guidry Thibodeaux.

Charlotte was the heart of her home and a skilled homemaker who dedicated her life to nurturing her family. Her warmth, kindness, and boundless love touched everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Charlotte's family will honor her memory with a funeral service at Miguez Funeral Home on February 10, 2025, at 1:00 PM. A public viewing will be held prior to the service, starting at 9:30 AM. After the service, she will be laid to rest at St. Anthony Cemetery in Lake Arthur under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Charlotte Oldfield will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on through her children and grandchildren. In this time of grief, let us come together to celebrate her incredible life and the love she shared.
