Celimene "Sally" Griffith

JENNINGS Funeral services for Mrs. Hanno (Celimene Sally Monger) Griffith, 66, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 12, 2009 in the First Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Masters officiating. Burial will be in the Istre Cemetery near Morse under direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings. Funeral home visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m., today, Sunday; and 8:00 a.m. Monday until time of services. Mrs. Griffith died at 6:12 a.m. Friday, January 9, 2009 in the Jennings American Legion Hospital. Mrs. Griffith was a lifelong resident of Jennings and a graduate of the Midland High School. She worked in retail sales. She enjoyed life and really enjoyed her children. She thought the world of her grandchildren. Mrs. Griffith is survived by her husband, Mr. Hanno Griffith; four daughters, Jane Griffith of Jennings, Patricia Langley and husband Joey, Mazie Breaux and husband Kyle, Kathleen Neely and husband Aaron all of Jennings; one son Dr. Patrick Griffith and his companion Misty Williams of Jennings; one sister, Natilda Camel and husband Dallas of Jennings; one brother, Ramie LeBlanc and his wife Theresa of Winnie, TX; seven grandchildren, Quinton Griffith, Bella Griffith, Sophia Griffith, Kendyl Breaux, Avery Breaux, Matt Tucker and Nocona Neely. A heartfelt thanks to her special caregiver Ritha Falcon. Mrs. Griffith is preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Eleanor LeBlanc Monger; her sister, Adelaide Hoffpauir and brother-in-law, Leon Hoffpauir. Pallbearers will be John Daigle, Ivan Guillory, Terry Guillory, Maurice Camel, Blaine Camel and Mitch Hoffpauir. Honorary Pallbearers will be Kyle Breaux, Aaron Neely, Joey Langley, Quinton Griffith, Matt Tucker, Nocona Neely and Kendyl Breaux.
