Celeste Marie Landry

Lake Arthur Funeral services for Miss Celeste Marie Landry, 24, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 7, 2009 in Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with Rev. Clyde Thomas officiating. Burial will be in St. Anthony Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Lake Arthur. Funeral home visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. and remain open until the time of service on Tuesday morning. A rosary will be led Monday evening at 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Miss Landry died Friday, July 3, 2009. Miss Landry was a native of Crowley and lifelong resident of Lake Arthur. She was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. She attended Lake Arthur High School and received her diploma in 2004. Miss Landry had attended McNeese State University. She enjoyed doing photography and loved to sing, play the guitar, draw and ride horses. She was an avid lover of animals and the outdoors. Survivors include her parents, Veronica Marceaux of Lake Arthur and Dennis Landry and his wife Debra of Jennings, a sister, Michelle Landry of Lake Arthur, two step-sisters, Shalyn LaBauve of Jennings and Melissa Hammand of Houston, Texas, a brother, Brian Landry and his wife, Jocelyn of Lake Arthur, a step-brother, Ian LaBauve of Webster, Texas; her maternal grandparents, Bill and Mazie Marceaux of Lake Arthur and her paternal grandparents, Lucille Landry of Lake Arthur and Harry Landry of Lake Arthur.
