It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cedric J Robicheaux, Sr., a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother. Cedric, born on December 17, 1934, in Welsh, LA, peacefully left this world on August 4, 2024, at his home in Jennings, LA at the age of 89.

Cedric worked as a machinist in the chemical industry for PPG, dedicating his life to his craft and providing for his family. He leaves behind his loving wife Betty Robicheaux, son Cedric "Rick" (Dionne) Robicheaux, Jr., daughter Revere Michelle "Mitzi" Leger, as well as his grandchildren Mary Beth, Becky, Anne, Mallory, Joseph, and Richard. He is also survived by his brothers Ralen and Pierre "Terry" Robicheaux and great grandchildren, Emery, Evan, Ella, Owen, Aden and Jean-Luc.

The Funeral Service to honor Cedric's life will be held at Miguez Funeral Home on August 6, 2024, at 2:00 pm with Brother Darrell Hieronymus officiating. 

Visitation will begin on Monday, August 5, 2024, from 3:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a rosary recited at 6:00 p.m. Visitation will resume Tuesday morning at 8:00 a.m. until the time of service.

Cedric was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Clemmie Dossman Robicheaux; sister, Leora Axe; his brother, Ronald Robicheaux; and his grandson in law, Marshal Leger.

Cedric will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. May he rest in eternal peace.
