Catherine Teal

Graveside services for Mrs. Catherine Jane Dudoit Teal, 73, of Jennings, will be held on Thursday, October 12, 2023, at 2:45 p.m. in Andrus Cove Cemetery with Rev. Clyde Thomas officiating.  Inurnment is under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Cremation has been entrusted to Miguez Funeral Home. 

Mrs. Teal was born on March 2, 1950, in Sulphur, to Joseph C. Dudoit and Rose Leblanc Dudoit. Several years after graduating from high school, she married the love of her life, Alfred Teal in 1971. She kept busy being a wife and mother to her three children. She also enjoyed reading and cross stitching in her spare time.

After their marriage, Alfred and Catherine moved to Lake Arthur and raised their family here.

Those left to cherish her memory are a daughter, Jennifer Teal (Michael) Parrish; a son, Johnathan Teal and one brother, Joseph Dudoit; grandchildren, Bradley, Aaron, Conner, Abigail, Nicholas, Cynthia, Michael and seven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband; her parents; son, Nelton Teal; and a sister Ophelia Guidry.
