Carol Cecile Cade

JENNINGS Funeral services for Miss Carol C. Cade, 83, will be held at 12 noon, Saturday, June 8, 2013 in the Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings with Rev. Charles McMillin officiating. Burial will be in the St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery in Abbeville, LA. Funeral home visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until noon on Saturday. Miss Cade died June 5, 2013 at 2:25 am in the Jennings American Legion Hospital. Miss Cade was a native of Abbeville and a resident of Jennings for 34 years moving here from Abbeville. Carol was a happy and much loved favorite resident of Camelot Brookside. She actively participated and enjoyed all social and religious activities. She was dearly loved by everyone. Survivors include three sisters, Hannah Didi Cade Cassidy of Jennings, Mary Cade Stockmeyer of New Orleans, Kathryn Cade Hollinger of Port Charlotte, FL; one brother, John M. Cade and wife Lambrini Piskioulis of Dallas, TX; nine nieces and seven nephews. Miss Cade is preceded in death by her parents, John Elliott and Hannah OQuinn Burks Cade; three brothers-in-law, Carl F. Stockmeyer, Allen W. Cassidy and Dr. Hal H. Hollinger; her godmother, Olive Cade Montet, a niece and a nephew.
