Funeral services for Mrs. Carol Ann Touchet Manuel, 72, of Jennings, will be held on Monday, December 12, 2022, at 4:00 p.m. in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Wayne Chapman officiating.

Visitation for Mrs. Manuel will begin Monday, December 12, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. and continue until the service time at 4:00 p.m.

Mrs. Manuel was born on September 8, 1950, in Jennings to Elfage and Lovenia Rose Fontenot Touchet.  She was a devoted wife who enjoyed cleaning her house and cooking for her family.  She couldn’t wait for crawfish season to begin because she absolutely loved crawfish.  She lived in Jennings her entire life.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, Joseph Manuel of Jennings; daughters, Tara Manuel, and Nancy Manuel, both of Jennings; son, Mark Manuel of Jennings; two sisters, Shirlene (Terry) Price of Sugarland, TX and Denise Gunnels of San Antonio, TX; two brothers, Kenneth (Della) Touchet of Abbeville and Terry Touchet of Jennings; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Joyce Andrepont and Juanita Abshire; and one brother, James Touchet.

Cremation will follow the service under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.
