Funeral services for Mr. Carl Robert Trahan, 56, of Lake Arthur, will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2023, in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel in Lake Arthur at 3:30 p.m. Cremation is to follow the service under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Visitation will begin on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at 1:30 p.m. and close at the time of service at 3:30 p.m.

Mr. Trahan was born on June 26, 1967, in Jennings to Dudley Robert Trahan, Jr. and Judy Ann Primeaux.  Mr. Trahan lived and worked in the Lake Arthur area his entire life.  He enjoyed fishing, and spending time with his family.  He worked as an outboard mechanic, which was the perfect job for someone who loved being on the water.

Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Judy (Mike) Conner; his wife, Debra Bergeaux Trahan; daughter, Hannah (Jacob) Preacher; sons, Carl “Jacob” Trahan, and Cory (Shellye) Smith; sisters, Carla (Reggie) Young and Connie (Bennett) Schexnider; brother, Will (Emily) Trahan; lifelong friend, Keith Gary; grandchildren, Maverick, Jadon, Greyson, Straton, Carsen, Lakely, and Adah.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dudley Robert Trahan, Jr.
