Carl Joseph Sonnier

Masonic funeral services for Mr. Carl Joseph Sonnier, 66, of Jennings, will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel in Jennings.  Burial will follow in St. Anne Cemetery in Elton, under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Visitation for Mr. Sonnier will begin on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at 9:30 a.m. and continue until the 2:00 p.m. service.

Mr. Sonnier was a lifelong resident of Jennings.  He worked for Jefferson Davis Parish as an equipment operator.  He was a member of Ashley Lodge #232 in Eunice, LA.  He loved tending to his chickens, pheasants, and peacocks.  He also enjoyed running his trout lines.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his girlfriend, Doris Faye Golden of Jennings; sister, Catherine Barber of Hathaway and niece, Amelia Barber and nephews, John and Josh Barber; great nephews, Tarvis Williams, Jr, Travon Etienne and great niece Brielle Etienne.
