Carl Dwayne Troutman, 62, passed away December 11, 2021, in a Lake Charles hospital surrounded by his loving family.
Carl was born on September 21, 1959, in Jennings, LA to Francis and Irma McMillan Troutman. He worked in the Oilfield for 35 years and he finished out the rest of his career at Metal Plate Galvanizing. Carl always loved helping others and bringing joy to their life. He was a loving friend, brother, but most importantly a loving father. His greatest blessings in his life were his five children. He loved watching and guiding them as they became adults.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Ashley (Hillary) Twiner of Natchez, MS, Paige Troutman of Hathaway; son Clayton Troutman of Oklahoma City; two bonus daughters, Brittany (Michael) Moore of Hathaway, Gabby Whitman of Hathaway; sisters, Francis (Edward) McCarty of Houma, Mary Epperly of LaPlace; and one brother, Leonard (Martha) Troutman of Roanoke.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Debbie Demarest; and brothers, David, Roy, Kenneth, Harold, and Donald Troutman.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 17, 2021, at 4:00 p.m. in the Roanoke Baptist Church with Bro. Darrell Hieronymus officiating. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. until the time of service.
The family would like to send a heartfelt thank you to Heart of Hospice especially Anne Marie and Kim, also to Avail Hospital and the best neighbors he could of asked for, Chasity and Scotty of Roanoke.
